Program Description
Assist the 1994 Land-Grants in developing institutional capacity for formal post-secondary education in the food, agricultural and natural resource sciences. Program serves primarily American Indian students enrolled in associate or baccalaureate degree granting 1994 institutions. Vocational and certificate programs are also supported.
Program Requirements
Accredited and legislatively designated 1994 Land-Grant Institutions.
Application Process
A formula program requiring an application and awarded as a four-year continuation award upon in-house review and approval. Funds awarded equally to eligible 1994s and administered as a grant program requiring annual progress and financial reports. Annual awards average $100,000 per institution.
