Program Description
This grant seeks to enhance existing research capacity at 1994 Land-grants that have or are developing focused areas of expertise in one or more of the food, agricultural, natural resource and human (FANH) sciences. This grant is intended to support a research endeavor where existing research, extension and education resources have already developed some level of expertise in an areas that is important to their students and communities they serve.
Program Requirements
If specific income levels by household size (e.g., Federal Income Poverty Guidelines or State Median Income calculations) are required, please include those here as well.
Only accredited 1994 Land-Grant Institution as authorized by Congress are eligible.
Application Process
There is an annual competitive peer reviewed grant opportunity where eligible 1994s can apply to receive funding. 1994 institutions must partner with 1862, 1890 universities, ARS research stations, non-land grant colleges of agriculture and Mcintire Stennis Schools of Forestry.
Please Note: Recipients must file annual progress and financial reports.
