The Wyoming Department of Education administers the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Non-profit and for-profit organizations, schools, and camps can participate in this program and will receive funds to supplement the cost of the food that is served to the children that eat meals at the site. The amount of reimbursement the organization or school receives is based on the type of site that is being operated. Individuals can not apply for this program but children can receive good nutrition through the Summer Food Service Program.
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a resident of the state of Wyoming. The income levels for the Summer Food Service Program are determined annually by the federal government. We use these guidelines when determining reimbursement to the sponsors.
In order to qualify, you must have an annual household income (before taxes) that is below the following amounts:
|Household Size*||Maximum Income Level (Per Year)|
Individuals cannot apply for this program. Non-profit and for-profit organizations and schools that are interested can contact the Wyoming Department of Education for more information.
