Program Description
The Department of Labor Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) enforces the non-discrimination and affirmative action obligations of Federal contractors and suppliers to the Federal government. It is unlawful for those doing business with the Federal government to discriminate against workers with HIV/AIDS in any aspect of employment.
The Department of Labor Civil Rights Center (CRC) ensures nondiscrimination and equal opportunity for individuals served by the American Job Center Service Delivery System (including Job Corps) and entities receiving financial assistance from the Department of Labor.
Program Requirements
OFCCP protections cover anyone working for a Federal contractor or supplier. *Note that you should consult the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) or Department of Justice if you are seeking resources for discrimination in other areas of life, including private employment.
