Program Description

The Migrant Education Even Start (MEES) Program improves the educational opportunities of migrant families through family literacy programs that integrate early childhood education, adult literacy or adult basic education, and parenting education.

Program Requirements

In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be or have been a fisherman or migrant or seasonal farmworker who is responsible for children under the age of eight.

To participate in one of these programs, contact your local school district to see if they host a program.
