Temporary Assistance for Families in Idaho (TAFI) is the monthly cash assistance program for low-income families in Idaho. The program goal is to provide necessary assistance to needy families with children on a temporary basis and provide parents with job preparation, work opportunities, enforcement of child support, and support services to enable them to become self-sufficient, and leave the program as soon as possible. This is a time-limited cash assistance and supportive services program with an emphasis on self-reliance and personal responsibility.
